It usually seems the pro ones are not parents and swear their dogs are better than others. It's true that these breeds can be raised sweet and innocent, but you're right. Deep down they are bred for this and years and years of breeding doesn't change - that's why characteristics and personalities carry on through generations of all dog breeds. I can't say I'm on either side of the fence on pro or anti, but I can say I feel so sad for the breeds because it's not like they chose to be that way.
