We should all acknowledge and pay respect to Australia’s First People and Traditional Custodians of this country and to their continued connection and contribution to land, water and community, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging from our local and throughout the broader Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. Sovereignty was never ceded; this always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.
